Terms of Service

Last updated November 7, 2026

These terms govern your use of quotetoad.com, operated by CAFELAST. By using the site you agree to them.

Estimates are not quotes

Our calculators give ballpark price ranges based on typical installed costs and the answers you provide. They are not quotes, bids, offers or guarantees. Final pricing is set by the contractor who does the work after reviewing your project.

Third-party service providers

QuoteToad is a paid lead generation and advertising service. We connect homeowners with independent third-party contractors, who may pay us for introductions. Contractors are not our employees or agents, and we do not perform any home-improvement work.

We do not independently verify any contractor's licensing, registration, insurance, bonding, qualifications or workmanship. You are responsible for doing your own due diligence before hiring anyone. Any agreement for work is solely between you and the contractor, and we are not responsible for their acts, omissions, pricing or work.

Calls and text messages

By submitting your phone number, you agree that QuoteToad and a contractor matched to your project may call and text you about your project, including with automated technology. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply; message frequency varies. Reply STOP to cancel and HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Using the site

Give accurate information, use the site only for lawful purposes, and don't try to disrupt it or scrape it. The site, calculators and content belong to us and may not be copied without permission.

Disclaimers and limits

The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to $100.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. We may update these terms; continued use means you accept the changes.
